Siblings: Had an younger sister who is Gosalyn's mother. Had no contact with her sister so had no idea she had a daughter.

Spouse: Launchpad McQuack. Their relationship had a rocky start since Katessa has a fear of heights and hates flying, and Launchpad has a fear of magic.

Parents: Professor Waddlemeyer was Katessa's father. She lost contact with that side of the family when her mother disappeared with her when Katessa was 5. Her mother then disappeared from her at age 10.

Children: Jett McQuack and Ornithopter McQuack.

Jett is the first born and takes after her father. The first born female of the Feathington line is usually cursed and has strong magical abilities. Instead, she was born with a condition where she can't do magic and magic can't effect her. This is good when people try to do magic damage on her, but bad when she is injured since a healing spell will not work on her. She looks like her Aunt Loopy with Launchpad's bangs and Katessa's redder hair. Height wise, for some reason she turned out shorter than both her parents. Jett ends up working as a pilot for a secret SHUSH team.

Ornithoper, though male, was born with all the powers the first born female should have had, but seems to be lacking the curse. He's the splitting image of Launchpad but not muscular. His eyes are also like his mother's. Ornithoper is trained in magic at Eldritch Academy but is then kicked out when it is found out he's from a cursed line. Morgana and Katessa finish his training, though he gets some lessons from a few other sources. He ends up working for a magical defense group that helps protect the world from evil magic users.

Grandchildren: Airis MacCawber and Porthor MacCawber.

Jett has twins with a MacCawber whom she met through SHUSH. They both turn out uncursed and average magic users. Porthor gets very deep into magic and studies and finds artifacts around the world Indiana Jones style. Airis becomes a teacher at Eldritch Academy.

Great Grandchildren: Mayday McQuack is met in an adventure Katessa had to the future. Its unknown if she's Jett's Grandkid or Orn's.

Year 5000 Decendent: Kamikaze, who is second in command of the Rebels.

Significant Others: Darkwing and Katessa don't get along much to begin with, until Gosalyn reminds him he has a magical girlfriend who used to be a criminal too. Gos had a dislike for her as a teacher but becames closer to Katessa once finding out she's her aunt.

Habits: When she is impatient everyone knows with how she taps her fingers or feet, or wrings her hands.
Health: Good for the most part, despite the curse.
Hobbies: Studying history and knitting. Every woman over 30 tries knitting at least once.
Favorite Saying: "This day just gets better and better..." "Really.... REALLY?!?!"
Speech patterns: Average american. Slips into a slight raspy voice when her past life is in control.
Disabilities: Curse might count as a disability. Her past life, only known as The Witch, can sometimes gain control of her. Usually only after she uses a lot of magic.
Style: Conservative   
Greatest flaw: A little bit selfish, willing to go to great lengths to solve her problems, not taking full consideration on how it may hurt others.
Best quality: Determined and strong willed.

Educational Background: Home schooled till 10, she then went from public school to public school when in the foster care program. She went to a basic college on a scholarship and went into teaching, which she now does.

Intelligence Level: While not technologically smart, she could be a good detective and does fine as a teacher.

Character's long-term goals in life:  To settle down, have a family, and go on with a mostly normal life.

How does Character see himself/herself? Stressed and overworked. Feels that everything is going to catch up on her someday.

How does Character believe he/she is perceived by others?Calm and collected, not up to anything bad.

How self-confident is the character? She plays out to be self confident with her stubbornness and strong will, but really things she has only a 50% chance of getting what she wants done, so thats why she puts 150% effort into it.

Does the character seem ruled by emotion or logic or some combination thereof? Katessa is a mix of it. She tries to be logical but emotions get in the way. It was the same thing that happened in her past life. 

What would most embarass this character? When she is put in a position where she has to be perfect, but her magic or her mind fails her.

Back Story: Katessa's family line was cursed many many years ago since the olden times of St. Canard. A wizard predicted that their family line would have the reincarnate of the evil Witch that killed their beloved King Canard. The curse was meant for the family to not have any first born daughters, if they did, they usually did not live long enough to see adulthood.

Katessa's mother saw her abilities show through at 5, and didn't want her daughter to die. She knew her daughter was the reincarnate of The Witch but did all she could to protect her. They mysterious curse wasn't just an illness but some sort of creatures that hunt down the first born females. Katessa's mother died protecting her, which Katessa had no idea till years later.

After moving to St. Canard as an adult, strange things start happening to Katessa. She starts having powers she can't control. She does research to find out how to control it. She finds out about a staff that would control her powers, but she needs to steal it. During at time F.O.W.L. is after her, since The Witch is someone who started F.O.W.L centuries ago. Gosalyn accidently gets involved since Katessa is one of her teachers. Gos gets Launchpad to help as well, leading the pilot to meeting Katessa. They hit it off right away though Katessa refuses to admit it.

The staff doesn't only control Katessa's powers, but puts her past life more in control. This leads The Witch to reigning the revenge she had promised on St. Canard. Its up to Launchpad and Gos to stop her. Long story short, they do so successfully. It leads to The Witch and the curse not being able to control Katessa anymore.

In a few epic battles she has been able to use The Witch to help her fight. Though the past life is still bitter, she still helps since she is now under Katessa's control.
